We give the customers a detailed report at the end of the survey that includes the right type of panels to use, the most effective position and angle of the PV system, potential site changes needed to adopt the PV system, and the recommended size of the same.
Site Survey & Feasibility Analysis for Solar Projects
Site survey and feasibility analysis is the first thing we do once a customer contacts us to install a solar PV system on their premises. Some of the factors considered during the survey are:
– The pros and cons of ground-mounted and roof-mounted systems
– The readiness of the building to adapt to solar power (quality of the roof, the direction the house faces, how shaded the area is)
– The correct angle at which the solar panels have to be installed
– Obstacles like trees, chimneys, poles, and neighboring buildings that can prevent direct sunlight from falling on the panels
– The average power consumption of the family/commercial establishment to decide on the size of the solar PV system
– The available budget
We give the customers a detailed report at the end of the survey that includes the right type of panels to use, the most effective position and angle of the PV system, potential site changes needed to adopt the PV system, and the recommended size of the same.
